Having served for almost 3 decades as a minister of counseling in a church-based context, Don is uniquely qualified to help you with many of the struggles in life. With a pastor’s heart and the experience of a seasoned therapist, Don has gifts in providing a safe environment and a clarifying experience for his clients. Trained both as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a licensed pastoral counselor, he has developed expertise in helping couples struggling with a variety of relational issues (conflict, emotional regulation, infidelity, etc.) Don also works with individuals and families dealing with emotional and relational struggles and has led numerous intensive marriage retreats throughout his career.
Don’s training includes a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky, a master’s degree in Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and completed the Post-master’s Certificate Program in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Louisville. Don is also an Approved Supervisor in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
Crissy is a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate who works with teenagers, adults, couples, and families with issues including anxiety, depression, codependency, trauma, and relationship issues. She is certified in “Prepare and Enrich” and Gottman’s Level 1 training for marital therapy.
Jason is a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate and Certified Social Worker who has experience working as a Home-Based Therapist with Department of Child Service and Probation cases. A certified Juvenile Sexual Offender Counselor as well, he works with children and families facing substance abuse, behavior management, and sexual addiction.
Angela brings years of experience of working with children and families. She has been trained as an adoption specialist and has experience working as a school counselor and in community mental health. In her practice, she sees children and teens, in addition to families and adults. She is trained in EMDR therapy as well as Trauma Focused CBT. She is passionate about helping families navigate tough times. She considers it an honor to come alongside her clients and help those struggling with anxiety, depression, behavior issues, family conflict and more.
Melanie is a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate who works with both individuals, couples and families. She works with issues including anxiety, depression, codependency, and relationship issues. Her undergraduate degree is in Health Promotion from the University of Alabama and her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy is from Campbellsville University. She is certified in “Prepare and Enrich” and Gottman’s Level 1 training for marital therapy. She has a background in the fitness industry and is passionate about working with people to improve their overall health and wellness through becoming more aware of their emotional response cycle and how that affects their relationships with others as well as themselves.
The PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) is certified to assess/evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental health illnesses and disorders of all types across the lifespan. Treatment most often includes a combination of individual psychotherapy and medication appropriate to the condition.
MaryLynn is a highly skilled and experienced NP with recent board certification as a PMHNP. She has spent 26 years serving patients in inpatient, outpatient, and at-home settings. MaryLynn couples this experience with her empathetic heart to supply a personalized path towards health and recovery.
MaryLynn’s desire is to assist and support clients in their unique journey towards health. She is dedicated to individualizing each person’s care. She has a faith-based approach but respects and enjoys each individual’s path of learning, growing, and healing.
MaryLynn has a special interest in adolescents but sees clients of all ages and all issues. She has substantial experience treating anxiety and mood related disorders but is quickly expanding to include trauma related disorders, substance use disorders, and conduct/behavioral disorders.
MaryLynn has a love and a gift for empowering people with mental health challenges to find hope and move towards recovery.
